Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) under the Ministry of Railways have issued the Centralised Employment Notification RRB CEN 01/2026 for the recruitment of 11,127 Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) posts in Level 2 of the 7th CPC with an initial pay of ₹19,900 across all Indian Railways.

Disc Code 101 – Technician Apprentice (Mechanical): 3-year regular full-time Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 50% marks (General/EWS/OBC-NCL) or 45% marks (SC/ST/PwBD) from a recognized Institute/University.
Disc Code 102 – Technician Apprentice (Electrical): 3-year regular full-time Diploma in Electrical Engineering with minimum 50% marks (General/EWS/OBC-NCL) or 45% marks (SC/ST/PwBD) from a recognized Institute/University.
Disc Code 103 – Technician Apprentice (Instrumentation): 3-year regular full-time Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering with minimum 50% marks (General/EWS/OBC-NCL) or 45% marks (SC/ST/PwBD) from a recognized Institute/University.
Disc Code 104 – Technician Apprentice (Civil): 3-year regular full-time Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 50% marks (General/EWS/OBC-NCL) or 45% marks (SC/ST/PwBD) from a recognized Institute/University.
Disc Code 105 – Technician Apprentice (Electrical & Electronics): 3-year regular full-time Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with minimum 50% marks (General/EWS/OBC-NCL) or 45% marks (SC/ST/PwBD) from a recognized Institute/University.
