Recruitment Summary :
L&T Energy Hydrocarbon is hiring Mechanical execution – Piping, Equipment, Structure, Formwork & Scaffolding, Execution – E&I, and Planning. Eligible candidates can appear for walk-in interview.
Mechanical Engineering Diploma, BE/BTech. are invited to apply . Candidates have to 5 to 20 years of experience in the similar field .
Details of the Offering Position, Eligibility Criteria, Required Experience and walk in details are furnished below.
Responsibilities :
Mechanical Execution – Piping :
- Supervise installation of piping systems as per drawings and specifications.
- Ensure proper alignment, routing, and support installation.
- Monitor daily site activities and workforce productivity.
- Coordinate with contractors, welders, and fitters
Mechanical Execution – Equipment :
- Supervise erection of equipment as per drawings and vendor guidelines
- Handle installation of:
- Pumps, compressors, turbines
- Heat exchangers, boilers
- Storage tanks, vessels
- Ensure correct positioning, leveling, and alignment
- Monitor lifting activities using cranes
Mechanical Execution – Structure :
- Supervise erection of:
- Steel structures (beams, columns, trusses)
- Pipe racks, platforms, walkways
- Equipment support structures
- Ensure proper alignment, bolting, and leveling
Formwork & Scaffolding :
- Plan and supervise formwork for:
- Slabs, beams, columns, walls, foundations
- Ensure correct alignment, dimensions, and level Check tightness to prevent leakage of concrete
- Approve formwork before concreting
Planning – Cost controllers :
- Prepare project schedule using tools like Primavera P6 / MS Project Define:
- Activities, durations, dependencies
- Develop baseline schedule Track progress vs planned schedule
- Identify delays and suggest recovery plans
Planning – Mechanical Execution :
- Prepare detailed schedules for Piping works
- Prepare detailed schedules for Equipment erection
- Prepare detailed schedules for Structural/mechanical installation
- Define activity sequence, durations, and dependencies
- Develop baseline schedule for mechanical scope Use tools like Primavera P6 / MS Project
Planning – Document Controller :
- Maintain all project documents such as:
- Drawings (GA, P&ID, layouts)
- Reports, specifications, contracts
- Ensure proper filing, numbering, and indexing Keep both hard copies and digital records
Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5 to 20 years experience in the relevant fields.
